The secret to great BBQ is not only good seasoning, but brining the meat in advance to make sure it remains moist during cooking and retains the smoky flavor you desire.
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Salt
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugr

3 TBS Texas Twister BBQ Rub
2 Quarts of water

Brine Bag
Directions
Combine ingredients in 2 Quarts of water. Place meat in a brine bag . Pour brine over top. Seal bag and place in refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours before cooking
